On a journey you are,
The destination is not so far.
Alone you stand on an endless road;
It is a voyage, you just need to board.
The sun is intense, difficulties it showers;
You will resist even fire, you have those powers.
Keep going, do not decrease your pace;
You are the only athlete, it's your race.
Your race and hence no reason to compete,
You have got only 'yourself' to beat.
Your vision for the goal is focused and clear;
Thus, travel with no apprehension and fear.
One thing that won't let you stop is the thought of success kiss;
Holding the success trophy high, a wonderful bliss.
