Sins...

Mom Dad married. They were lovers.
Their love wasn't made for covers.
Dad found work. I was born.
He got busy, their relationship torn.

House would be empty. Mother alone.
She gave me strength, I wasn't prone.
Dad left the house. Mom made a new start.
But her world had already fell apart.

We were alone. Dad had his kins.
I could never forget his Sins.
I would go to school. He watched me daily.
He would stand at a distance, I cared for him barely.

One day he died. I was called for formalities.
I ignored them for I knew his realities.
Mom cried. I was at peace.
My detestation for him would never cease.

Now I have a child. I have a wife.
Mom's no more, my son now my life.
Today me and my wife part. We don't match.
And here my life comes to a catch.

Then I was a son. Now I am a Dad.
My son thinks that with sins I am clad.
I miss my Dad. For me he waited.
I punished him for the Sins he never committed!

Spell of love

The wind opened the windows wide
Flicking the pages of the book I was reading.
I leaned against the window,
Feeling the magical raindrops.
Rain brings with it magic!
Magic of love, magic of elation.
The aura around me changed.
And yet again left me lost in thoughts.
The day I first met you.
Your spell captivated me.
My eyes glittered as you smiled.
The magic was love and love was you...
Fearless were my moments in your arms.
Your presence added beauty to everything...
As I turned few golden pages from our story
Embracing rain, I feel love in each drop.
These silver raindrops cherish the love we share.
With every raindrop falling on me,
My heart beats fast...
And I exhale my love for you.
You define me because I've built my world around you.
My strength is love and love is YOU.
